MATCH IT. PROVE IT. PLACE IT.
Deliver with care.
Show clear proof.
Every stop needs three photos that tell one story: the same package, the same address, and the correct final delivery spot.
01 · SHIPPING LABEL
Show the whole label. The delivery address, tracking number, and barcode must be readable.
02 · ADDRESS NUMBER
Show the house, building, or business number. For apartments, also verify the unit. The numbers must match the label.
03 · FINAL DROP LOCATION
Show the package in its final safe spot, with the door, desk, locker, or surroundings visible. For a handoff, show acceptance without capturing faces or private details.
BEFORE YOU LEAVE
Review all three photos. Use photos from your own stop. Complete safe placement or handoff before marking Delivered.
Good delivery. Clear proof.
Examples adapted from the RUSHD Simple Delivery and Photo Guide.
A house or apartment
The label matches the street and unit. The package rests safely at the correct door. A wider photo shows the package and entrance.
A package still in your hand
A label or a doorway alone does not prove delivery. Place the package first, then retake the final photo.
Guide pages 5, 9 & 24
A readable label
The full shipping label is in focus, well lit, and shows the address, barcode, and tracking number.
A blurry or hidden label
The blank side of the parcel, glare, or a cut-off tracking number is not acceptable. Turn it over, steady the camera, and retake.
Guide pages 2, 22 & 29
The correct receiving area
At an apartment desk or business, obtain staff acceptance and document the receiving area. At a locker, complete its delivery steps.
An open public entrance
Do not leave a parcel outside an unsecured building entrance. Contact the recipient or dispatch for access and use the exception process if needed.
Guide pages 11–13 & 19
A safe, recognizable spot
Place parcels gently, away from roads and animals. Show the package together with the door or receiving area.
An unsafe drop or tight close-up
Never throw or discard parcels. A photo of only a wall and parcel gives too little context. Move to a safe spot and step back for the photo.
Guide pages 14, 26 & 27
No visible address number?
Look at the door, gate, or mailbox. If none is visible, photograph the full home or building and entrance. Add a map screenshot showing the delivery address and your location pin in the correct area. The map supports your proof; it does not replace the label or final-drop photo.
Wrong address, no access, or unsafe conditions?
Stop and contact the recipient or dispatch. Follow the exception process. Do not mark Delivered while the package is still with you. Never reuse a photo from another stop.
Based on RUSHD Simple Delivery and Photo Guide, pages 1–29. Examples are summarized for training; photos from real stops must stay in the authorized delivery system.
